As with much that I have got going on, this was months in development. I bought the bed at a great sale price just after Christmas, when I guess new beds aren’t typically a priority.
It was project management 101 – chicken, fox, grain – I had to get the radiator fixed and lighting changed before I could install the bed. And I had to clear the room of furniture, as it was meant to be a laundry/dressing room before I decided the house needed a second proper bedroom (i.e., a room with a bed in – the others are a new dressing room, shoe room and office respectively).
Much remains to do – new curtains, a fresh coat of paint (I am not sure what colour yet), but I am proud if this meaningful leap forward.
