I’ve been crazy busy of late so it’s taken me a while to update the site. Actually, I add this post on 19th December (9 days after the fact) but it feels like a month ago, such is the amount happening at the moment.
On my final trip to Swansea for in-person teaching I made the best of it with a two night stay. This gave me a chance to enjoy the company of colleagues and students. Of equal importance, it presented a long-awaited opportunity to do some touristy stuff too.
I had a walk around Swansea’s Singleton campus, my one and only visit as a university employee because the School of Management is on the new Bay Campus on the other side of town. I also got to the designer outlet village at Bridgend which was well worth the visit. I picked up the rather nice pair of Timberlands below.
It’s not impossible that I won’t return to Swansea for a very long time now. I worked in Essex in 2009 and still haven’t returned 11 years on. Who knows…!?
