Results are in!: Diet week #3

This week concluded with a modest loss: 1.8lbs. Although that’s below target I crossed a key psychological threshold of moving out of the 15 stone bracket. I’ve been over 15 stone four times in my life and it generally corresponded with things going wrong. Within the 14 stone bracket – given my large body structure – I look like a healthy/strong guy on the stocky side. Much above 15 stone I start to look fat and into the 16 stone bracket (where I’ve been twice) I start to look a mess.

With another 30lbs off I’ll look carved like an athlete and this is the goal. I am an athlete, I burn 30,000+ calories in a normal week (even without any set piece work outs) so I should look like an athlete. The surplus body weight completely undermines a valid projection of who I am and how I live.

This week has not been active by my standards, as I explained in a prior post. I have been desk-bound Wednesday – Friday and that hasn’t been a choice. This time last week my only concern was getting below 15 stone and that is done. Even at this lowered loss pace I will be below 14 stone in 7/8 weeks. I am excited by this prospect and completely confident I will get there – in 6 weeks ideally! 🙂
