Boy, have I been busy lately! The past few weeks have been hot, hot, hot — ever since I returned from Chile in May, it’s felt like an early summer: warm, dry, and relentless. And, true to form, I’ve had far too much going on to properly relax under the seasonal sun.
After buying my house in December, the chaos of the Spring semester meant I had to hit pause on any home projects until the teaching and marking were out of the way. But over the past few weeks, I’ve made it a goal to tackle one key task each day — and slowly but surely, those small efforts have added up. The place is finally starting to look and feel like home.
