London Town & City, University of London

It’s pretty rare for me to visit London spontaneously but this was only planned at 18:30 the night before. I had to get some important administration taken care of. It was a case of sooner-the-better, so I jumped in the car and got it done.

Of course, it’s a long way to go for a paperwork exercise so I got some steps in and quickly visited Berry Brothers & Rudd and Fortnums before racing home.

For a rush job it went very smoothly…!

The good news is that a 6-hour round trip yielded the desired result: I received written confirmation of employment at my new employment at Bayes Business School. It’s an elite school at the heart of the old city of London so I won’t deny some pride in being their most recent academic recruit.
