18 months of extra-ordinary rain has to be good for something. The flowers in my garden are certainly very happy about it, I am seeing record blooms and there’s every reason to expect more to come.
The garden has been neglected in the last few years but this year I have managed to squeeze in one or two big gardening days, creating a veneer of respectability in the least.
I also replaced the bench, with the old one having gone slowly rotten throughout its 10 year life span. Hopefully it’s replacement will be good for a decade too.
