The ITP is the most prestigious training for university teachers worldwide so it was a genuine thrill to be a participant. The first of three weeks took place in Brussels. I was delighted to have an opportunity to visit because it’s unlikely I would have done so without a work reason.
The programme was bracketed by a little time in Amsterdam, a place I have not visited for 20 years. It’s a very different experience as a “proper adult”, every bit as enjoyable just different.

With an evening at the Magritte Museum
Thursday 11th January, ITP day #4
Another busy day at Vlerick followed by an evening at Atomium
Friday 12th January – a wonder around Brussels and a trip back to Amsterdam
