I don’t do hyperbole (except in the sarcastic sense) so when I say this I mean it: Hans Zimmer Live is the best show I’ve ever seen. It features a true living genius bringing his work to life on stage with an array of musical talent that leaves you speechless.
The best show on the planet – end of.
As part of the experience I spent 2 days in central Manchester. This was the first such visit for 2 decades and as with Liverpool – which I also visited after a long time away last year – it has come on leaps and bounds as a confident, modern city. I now crave a long weekend getting to both both jewels of the north-west better.
