I paid a high price for this workout, my back spasmed (at least 9 out of 10 on the pain spectrum) on the very first set. Squat thrusts are meant to be my calorie burning warm up not the exercise that breaks the camel’s (well, man’s) back before he even gets going!
It was freezing literally and I wasn’t wearing my back support, believing that there was little or no risk. How wrong I was! Still, I hobbled through chest and back before the pain and aching really set in. Hopefully it will subside soon because I have a fairly active week. January was meant to be homeworking but I’ve actually stayed home 2 days a week at most. As they say, plans only exist for the amusement of the Gods.
