Lodge improvement: the work office

My campus office was a depressing sight when I first moved in. I’ve done what I can to add heart and soul on a very modest budget. Much of the artwork is from charity shops so they are not the product of a free hand, although I’m genuinely happy with what I’ve got for a few £s per painting. Numerous other bits were from home but not in use; aesthetically it’s a cobble together don’t get me wrong but at least it’s got character and a homely feel. One student actually asked “do you live here – it’s nice.” The correct answer is “yes and no.” I’ll be at the work office far more than the home office in Spring ’23 so I definitely want to feel at home.
