After 5 years intensely dominated by home improvement, career development, personal development and external chaos (Brexshit, endless Tory-induced nightmares, Covid-19 and now stagflation), I am looking to make a small return to holidays abroad next year. I have therefore booked a modest holiday in Majorca, mindful that the only way is up for prices in the foreseeable future. I don’t really know the going rate but a respectable 4* hotel in July with half board and flights inclusive for £550pp seems reasonable enough to me. I’m not really a beach holiday person but after 4 years stuck in the UK it’s a rather tempting prospect.
Equally exciting, I’ve booked tickets to see Hans Zimmer live in Manchester. That’s a treat that has been on the wish list for many years.
