Visiting my new campus

I feel humble and privileged to be joining the University of Birmingham as a lecturer in January 2022. Of all the UK’s universities it is the one I want to work with most. It’s practical – literally two stops by train (with its own station no less!) – but also prestigious and historic with a great reputation as an employer. Anyone who works in HE knows that this is a rare and special thing.

So far my new colleagues have been fantastic in supporting my transition. To top it all off I’m going to be specialising in organisational behaviour, my favourite field of research and teaching.

This all has a “meant to be” feel to it. I’m moving to my dream Premier League club and very much look forward to bringing my A-game.
