I love the Quay so a yearly trip is well on its way to becoming a new tradition. There’s always a bargain to be had, on this occasion two pairs of chinos and two T-shirts. The former were from GAP, a store I never had much time for in its heyday but I still feel sad that it’s disappearing from the high street. I dread the day that retail only means digital interfaces, soulless warehouses and home deliveries. Every time a famous retailer disappears from shopping districts that day draws closer.
Note: I stopped off on the way in Tewkesbury to take a picture of some very cool war memorials.
