Little green friends

It’s been a bad 12 months for everyone. At risk of sounding insensitive I had a “good” (albeit only in a very relative sense) first 6 months of the Covid era but the last 6 months have been miserable, mainly because of my job change. More money is great but it has its limits for sure. If you’re deeply unhappy no amount of money is enough so it’s fair to say the writing is on the wall. Life’s too short for that…

Anyway, tough time or not it’s so nice when the outdoors springs back into life 😍🌷 My garden is challenging, I’ve got big trees and big fences blocking the light. I have to keep an eye on my inanimate friends to make sure they’re getting enough water in particular.

It breaks my heart the way humans disrespect nature, ignoring that trees are the lungs of our planet – cutting them down for petty reasons. Once they’re gone we will soon follow. I’ve got over 20 on my little patch, beyond the reach of destructive others. I am their protector πŸ’ͺπŸ˜’

Anyway, here’s a few cheerful Spring pics 🌱🌿🌱
