In the final few years of my PhD I became determined to limp across the line with the tech I started with. We were a team, me & 3 inanimate objects that I sat staring at for 1,000s of hours. It would have seemed wrong to drop any of them towards the end of the journey, allowing some flash new PC to take the glory.
With doctorate long since complete it was time for a tech squad rotation, as discussed in my last post. Two of my PhD “team” are now part of my digital triad in the gym (see below). As for my home office I have a new set up, fit for the next stage of my journey. I’ve got my work cut out and the hardware and software has to be fit for the fast lane. I’m very optimistic about the new dream team! 🙂😍
