Supporting the high street

On Tuesday (22nd October 2020) I managed to steal a couple of hours in Gloucester Quay. It’s a unique place with a novel juxtaposition of socio-economic eras and architecture.

The shopping mall isn’t huge but it does have several outlets that are well worth a little detour. If you catch the place on a nice day (as I did) and during normal times (which I didn’t) it has plenty of nice spots for al fresco dining too.

Amazon is fine to replace toothbrush heads but there are some things for which a good high street cannot be replaced. Let us hope we can continue to visit them safely throughout autumn 2020 and beyond…
