I skipped weigh-in last week, having had a highly turbulent Friday 10th July. I try to standardise the 2 days prior to weigh-in so as to ensure that results are not skewed by something abnormal. It is basic scientific practice to isolate and control variables other than that you are interested in.
The result for weeks 8 & 9 combined was a 2.4lbs loss. There was only a tiny loss of muscle registered by the scales (which I do not believe actually happened) whilst my water level was higher than 2 weeks ago. In short, this suggests that I have lost a lot of fat. My body fat registers at 18.9%, inching closer to my immediate target of sub-13%.
I am now within stone’s throw of the 13 stone band which is very exciting. I can look great at that weight and it’s where I expect to be long-term. The idea is to get to around 12 stone with 8-10% body fat and then try to add muscle from a lean base.
